Recording has been a rather nocturnal process. We've been getting a lot of things done over break; definitely expect the unexpected on the record. Big Queen-like vocal parts will not be out of the picture, i promise you.
In case you didn't know, the record has three songs divided throughout it that, in case you didn't understand the story lyrically, spell things out on very flat terms so that you can get the gist of the story even if you don't understand the subtleties added by the other songs. Until now we've called these songs "the ballads" (ballad p1, ballad p2, and ballad p3). Now they will be known respectively as "The Two Faced Savior" "The Renegade Sailor" and "The Stone-Faced Admiral." These are some of the last songs on the record that we planned to record, and the first two are getting close to finished, so we're getting close. High Fives?!?!?
