Hello and good evening to all of you lonely cyber meanderers. My esteemed brotha' Ian and I have rescently returned from Merlefest and picked up quite a hefty deal of southern culture along the way. One thing that I learned during our nocturnal return really has nothing to do with southern culture, but might be mildly interesting all the same. It was actually part of a university study that I heard on the radio somewheres between nowheres.
Did you know: that the best time to ask a favor of someone is betweeen the hours of 9-11 am. That people are more likely to grant a request if you give them the option not to. And that they will more readily grant an obscure absurdly specific request than a common one (ie. "Could I have 37 cents" as opposed to "could I have a quarter"
And with this wonderfully edifying tidbit of trivia I implore you to go out into the world and, with God's spead, extort to your little hearts delight.
love and a lonely heart.

Did you know it costs 1.5 cents to make a penny? hmmmmmmm
